AMEE's MedEdPublish is moving to a new home on the 2nd of November. As part of this MedEdPublish and AMEE will be embracing a new open data policy. This webinar will discuss the why, how and where of data sharing in medical education and explain more about the new MedEdPublish Platform
Data transparency in the context of medical education research is becoming increasingly important. This webinar aims to explore what 'data' means in medical education, outline the reasons why data transparency is important and explain how authors can share their data effectively, transparently and safely.
Format and Interactivity:
The session will include presentations from the three speakers and will incorporate use of the Padlet tool to support audience participation.
Participants should leave the session with an understanding of the importance and value of data in medical education research, as well as the tools to better share their own data.
This session will be suitable for any researcher, student or educator interested in learning more about data transparency and how to apply these methods to their own work, as well as those interested in finding out more about the MedEdPublish publishing platform.
